When it comes to web marketing, many of you may know that it is hard to tell what works and doesn't work. We may be able to see the number of hits per day we are receiving on our web site, but if you have multiple advertising campaigns at work, it is difficult to track the response from so many different areas.
A new service www.filtrbox.com aims to fix that problem. It tracks your brand and its reputation, your sales prospects, and even the competition. This is a great way to manage your viral marketing campaign and track the effectiveness very easily. I was also suprised to see that it only costs $10.00 per month.
As a user of Google adwords, I love the ease of their system, and the multiple pages of information available for each website that signs up. But, it can not track your competition and investments as filtrbox.com claims to do. Those are different search methods.
For PR response and campaign management, this tool is a gem! It states on their website the things it can manage for you...
1) Tracks your brand & its reputation (good or bad- we need to know!)
2) Tracks your sales (where it's coming from)
3) Tracks the Competition (So you can stay one step ahead, and don't get left behind)
4) Tracks your Investments. (See what the public opinion is and track how it relates to the market's profit and loss!)
As long as you have this kind of control over your marketing campaigns, and you use the intelligent data that the system gives you, you can make a serious impact in your viral marketing.
When you receive your data from the system, be sure to let this infomation help you do a better job in marketing your company. See if you can spot your mistakes (too much money spent in one area with no ROI) and use your competition's data to help you find a niche or un-tapped area.

New Training Methods for Employees

New Strategies for Getting More from Employees
by Celeste Simmons
Ever since the recession began, businesses started looking at new ways to get their employees to be more productive and better equipped to get their job done. As the economic down-turn continues, it is re-shaping the way employers train their employees.
A gallup poll entitled "Which Skills Hold the Secret to Success?" stated that the management skills we value most are our people skills and critical thinking skills.

The poll statistics suggest that employers value employees with the problem solving and decision making skills more than advanced use of computers. However, some of the valuable skills that are needed in the workplace of today are not taught in the typlical educational environment, but from a corporate trainer.
When we asked local business owners just HOW a corporate trainer has helped them in the past, they explained their experieince with a trainer as "beneficial and enlightening".
"The trainer introduced customer development classes and relational skills. He showed us how we could improve on our current customer base and helped us see management errors we had made in dealing with customers and employees." Confided R. Douglas of a Marietta Ga. security company.
Jeff Compton, a speaker of an inventive seminar series called "DRIV Strategies" focuses on motivation and communication strategies in the workplace. He calls this "energy with intent". His series shows you how to get more productivity in the workplace by teaching your staff how to recognize their personal energy source, and how to tap into it.
"By seeing the source of our energy, we can direct our paths to a greater outcome. This energy will change our lives and relationships; but at our jobs, it will change our work ethic and produce results."
Jeff states that his attendees "Get more out of relationships, more from their job and more for themselves". This series touches on the power of your hidden energy, and how to use your source. Jeff says that speaking with your customers on their level and understanding how they operate and communicate is the key to increasing your business profits as well. "Your energy source is the key to productivity. Without that understanding, you are missing out on clients, deeper relationships and personal achievement."
Enlisting the help of a corporate traininer may be an option for your company. Whether you choose an on-site seminar or off-site speaker, it may prove this to be the best investment your company ever made. __________________________________________________________________
